Union City Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals Meeting Minutes   Fourth Quarter 2001   Dec. 11, 2001, Meeting Minutes (Planning Commission)     Dec. 11, 2001 PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES Members Present: Lynn Thomas-Roth Dale Shields Glynn Marsh Mayor Packard Vice-Mayor Beyer City Staff Members Present: John Applegate Denise Winemiller   The Planning Commission meeting was called to order by Mr. Shields. Attendance was taken and all of the planning commission members were present. 1. Mr. Shields asked if there were any questions or corrections for the minutes of the August 14, 2001 meeting. There were none so Mayor Packard moved that the minutes be accepted. Mr. Beyer seconded the motion. All concurred and the minutes were accepted as prepared. 2. 01-15 - Final plat application for Stoney Crest Development, Section 2, from Oberer Companies. George Oberer, the developer, was present at the meeting. Mr. Applegate said that Woolpert has reviewed and approved the plans. The original preliminary plan showed a cul-de-sac in the south-east corner that has been changed in the final plans, in order to accommodate school busses and emergency vehicles. The park entrance will be at Furnas and Frederick. The homes in this section of the subdivision will be in the $170,000 price range. Mr. Marsh asked if the old house would be torn down. The house will be taken down because it contains asbestos. Mrs. Thomas-Roth asked if the number of lots had been changed since the cul-de-sac was removed and was told that the lots should be the same. Mr. Marsh asked where the models would be. One will be located on the corners of Churchill and Stoney Crest. Mr. Beyer moved to accept the final plat application for Stoney Crest Development, Section 2. Mr. Marsh seconded the motion. All concurred and the plat application was accepted. 3. Mr. Beyer moved that the planning commission meeting be adjourned. Mr. Shields seconded the motion.
