Union’s Egg Hunt - March 24 - be there at 10:00 am!

The City of Union will be having their annual Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 24, at 10:00 am, which is when the Bunny will arrive on a City of Union Fire Truck.
The actual egg hunt will start at 10:30 am.  This event will take place at the Phillipsburg-Union Road Community Park. 
There will be 4,000 eggs this year for age groups 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, and 7-8.
Parents can bring a camera and take pictures of the children with the Bunny. 

Voter Registration - Board of Elections

Need to register to vote?

If you are a Montgomery County resident, you can register online through the Montgomery County Board of Elections.

Miami County residents can register with the Miami County Board of Elections, Court House, 215 W. Main Street, Troy, Ohio 45373.  Phone 937-440-3900 or email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

Another option If you need to register to vote is to go to any Bureau of Motor Vehicles, Library, and high school..

To vote in elections, you must be registered 30 days before the election occurs.  The next time the polls will be open is May 8, and the deadline to register is April 3.

There are several locations on where to vote for Union.

In Montgomery County:
Precinct A and B votes at the Englewood Assembly of God, 415 North Main Street, Englewood, Ohio 45322..
Precinct C and D votes at Union United Methodist Church, 222 Shaw Road, Union, Ohio 45322.

If you are in Miami County:

Both precincts vote at Community Grace Brethren Church, at 2261 South Miami Street, West Milton, Ohio 45383.

Deadline to register for the May 8 election is April 9.

Summer Garage Sale Dates!

Union’s city wide garage sale will be held on June 7, 8, and 9th, a Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.  Hours can be from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.  No permits are required.

Free Help for Municipal Income Tax Forms

The Central Collection Agency or CCA will be at the City of Union to offer free help for residents on completing their city income tax forms.

Please see the flyer with all the available dates and times.

There was a change this year where one date, Saturday, March 10, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm is “Walk in service, first come, first served”, and two dates, Tuesday, March 13, and Wednesday, March 21, both days from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, are for appointments only.  Call after February 26, 2018 to schedule appointments at this number - 937-227-1359. 

Please note, residents can go to any of the places listed in the flyer, like Clayton and West Milton.

City of Union Holiday Lighting Winners!

Thanks to everyone that decorated for the holidays! 

The Park Board drove around through town on Friday, December 15, at 7:00.  The attached list is the homes that were chosen as having the best holiday lighting.

Congratulations to the winning residents and to all the citizens in Union that contribute to the holiday season in such a festive way.

Leaf Pickkup Starts!

The City of Union will be picking up leaves starting Monday, October 16. 

Collection will run until the week of November 20.  Please keep vehicles off the street if you need leaves picked up.  If you miss getting the leaves picked up one week, they will get them the following week.  For questions, call city hall at 836-8624.

Hydrant Flushing Starting September 11, 2017

The City of Union will be flushing hydrants for the next few weeks.  Anyone experiencing any water problems can call City Hall.
