Police Lt. Darrin Goudy

imageLieutenant Darrin Goudy has served with the City of Union Police Department since June of 2000. He began his law enforcement career in 1997 after graduating from the Sinclair Community College Police Academy.

He served as a police officer for the Village of West Alexandria Police Department while working for the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. His first assignment with the City of Union was as a patrol officer. As a patrol officer, Lieutenant Goudy also performed the duties of detective. He is also a certified Level 2 Firefighter and a Basic EMT.

He earned a promotion to the position of police lieutenant in February of 2003. As lieutenant, he manages the officers and oversees all criminal investigations. Lieutenant Goudy also served our country in the Air Force, where he was an explosive ordinance disposal specialist.

He is currently working on his associate’s degree in criminal justice at Sinclair Community College.
