City Utility Billing Rates and Procedures
Residents are billed for City services the first day of every month. These services include: water, sewer, stormwater and, in this same bill, refuse collection (trash and recycling pickup). Customers have 10 working days to pay the bill before a penalty is applied. Payment is accepted by mail, inside City Hall, at the City’s drop box located next to the communications tower behind the City Building and now, online (scroll below for details).

Flat-rate billing (8 times/year):
Water $12.00
Sewer $34.00
Refuse $17.00
Stormwater $4.00

Usage-rate billing (usage rate, billed 4 times/year):
Water $1.75 per 1,000 gallons of usage.
Sewer $2.20 per 1,000 gallons of usage.
(Refuse and storm rates are the same as above)

View and Even Pay Utility Bills Online
Residents can now view their City utility accounts online—via the Internet—24 hours a day, seven days a week. View current balance, last payment date, payment amount and water consumption history. For a small convenience fee, residents can also pay utility bills using credit or debit card. To set up your view and/or pay account, please go to this site View Utility Bills Online or call the City at 937-836-8624 for more information.

Residents can also have their utility bill automatically debited from their checking account each month by downloading, completing and mailing this form to the City of Union at 118 N. Main Street, Union, Ohio 45322: Auto-Pay-Utility-Bills.pdf

Union now has the capability of emailing residents/property owners their utility bill.  The bill would be emailed directly to your in-box and will include all the information that has always appeared on your utility bill.  Just complete the form below and drop off at Union city hall.
Plans are to start this with the utility bill that will be sent out on November 30 but residents/property owners can sign up at any time.
