How to Print Documents from the City of Union Website

How you print depends on the kind of printer you have:

  • Higher-end, newer-model printers support a variety of printing options. Your browser probably has a Print-button icon on the toolbar at the top of the screen that you may select for printing.
  • Lower-end or older-model printers may not offer as many printing options, however, printing the correct information can be done. First, try the Print-button icon that probably appears on the toolbar at the top of your browser. As a second option, select File>Print (see if a Dialogue Box appears offering you printing options; if not, try printing anyway). If you encounter problems when printing, try this option:
  • Using your mouse, select the type and/or graphics you wish to print, holding the mouse button down until everything you wish to print is darkened or selected. Then, select File>Print. Your selected images should print just fine.
  • Printing "PDF" Documents. This Website contains documents that are saved PDF, or Portable Document Format. PDF preserves the original look of a paper document, such as a brochure or newsletter, for electronic viewing on the Web. To view a PDF document, you need Adobe's Acrobat Reader. Some Adobe products already come bundled with Reader. If you don't have Reader, you can download a free copy from Adobe's Website. All pages in the Union Website that feature PDF documents have a link to Adobe's Web site. Once you've installed Reader, to print documents that are saved PDF, open up the document and select the Print-button icon that appears in the Acrobat toolbar at the top of the document.
